On the heels of the Mill Valley Chamber’s efforts this summer and fall to #ActivateThePlaza by getting gracious restaurants like Piazza D’Angelo, Prabh Indian Kitchen, Sweetwater Music Hall & Cafe and BŌL to offer discounts to attendees of the Concerts on the Plaza, the Chamber is back it, this time with a huge assist from the City of Mill Valley’s Department of Public Works.
Given the longstanding inactivity on Depot Plaza due to the long-delayed building renovation, which appears to be moving forward in the coming days(!), DPW offered to temporarily relocated a trio of redwood picnic benches to the Plaza, giving people another opportunity to relax, have a conversation, enjoy a lunch, whatever it might be. They’ve also strung some additional lighting around the plaza to add to the already festival holiday atmosphere.
