On Sunday, August 27th from 4-7pm, the Redwoods, Mill Valley’s Community of Seniors that has been one of the backbones of the community for more than 50 years, is hosting, along with co-chairs Kendra Pollack and Shannon Coleman, a family “fun-raiser” in the garden with live music from “The 85’s with April and Monroe Grisman, along with the Redwoods’ own Rock the Ages choir.
The event will highlight will highlight volunteer leadership opportunities at the Redwoods for adults and high schoolers.
The gathering will have delicious fare for all ages from Stacy Scott Catering, with signature cocktails, beer, wine and lemonade.
Kids and adult activities will include cornhole, a photo booth, balloon art, foosball, face-painting and more.
Tix for adults are $75, while those for ages 6-17 are $25 and children five and under are free.
