Greta McLain

From colorful projects designed to infuse communities with visual vitality to artistic efforts calling for racial equity amidst a global reckoning, public art has been having a moment in recent years.

Across the United States and South America and in Paris, Greta McLain‘s murals/mosaics use the power of visual language to activate and bond the voices of diverse communities.

At a free, virtual Outdoor Art Club event on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 1pm via Zoom, she will talk about how she designs public spaces to enrich positive energy and celebrate the people, histories, challenges, and richness that exist in surrounding communities, expressing the narrative of a neighborhood from the point of view of the people who live there.
