The City Council Backed aĀ Fee Waiver Policy that Includes a Pair of Voter Precincts in Marin City – 31228 and 31229 – the Waiver Could Include Staffing Fees, Deposits, Permit Fees, Facility Rentals and More

Arts & Recreation are steeped into the fabric of Mill Valley, and this week, the City Council unanimously made a welcoming stride toward giving more Southern Marin residents, specifically our long-neglected, immediate neighbors just over the smallest of hills in Marin City. The council agreed to support, in partnership, aĀ fee waiver policy that includes specifically includes a pair of voter precincts in Marin City – 31228 and 31229. The approved Fee Waiver Policy would include staffing fees, deposits, permits fees, facility rental fees and more. Mill Valley Arts & Recreation staff would be able to approve a fee waiver or reduction of up to $2,000, with requests for fee waivers over $2,000 will be sent to the Parks & Recreation Commission for consideration

A Full Circle Mill Valley Moment: Tartine Looks to Return to the 94941 Later This Year!

Famed baker Chad Roberston and pastry chef Elisabeth Prueitt started here in 1999 with the aforementioned Bay Village Bakery, closing it in early 2002, later going on to massive acclaim with their Tartine bakery. But now it’s official: the Tartine sourdough will soon be rising at the Strawberry Village shopping center in Mill Valley, as the famed bakery chain is expanding with a new Marin County spot that will apparently offer some exclusive items not available at other locations.
