Mill Valley Music Fest Reveals Reveals Expanded Lineup With Sweetwater Stage Featuring Local By Area Musicians
“More than anything, it’s the sounds that emanate from this thrilling group of musicians who ultimately make the Mill Valley Music Festival what it is,” says Jim Welte, Executive Director of the Mill Valley Chamber. “We hope attendees will recognize some favorites on this bill. We’re firmly in the camp of there being no such thing as too much live music in Mill Valley. To that end, while we wake up every day to make the 2025 Mill Valley Music Fest the best version of itself, we’re also focused on getting you excited for a series of pop-up shows around town, all to remind you, and ourselves, that live music is a fundament element within the 94941, and as the weather gets a bit less frosty and the sun stays awake a bit longer, there’s plenty of fun and excitement to be had! Arts & Recreation are steeped into the fabric of Mill Valley, and this week, the City Council unanimously made a welcoming stride toward giving more Southern Marin residents, specifically our long-neglected, immediate neighbors just over the smallest of hills in Marin City. The council agreed to support, in partnership, a fee waiver policy that includes specifically includes a pair of voter precincts in Marin City – 31228 and 31229. The approved Fee Waiver Policy would include staffing fees, deposits, permits fees, facility rental fees and more. Mill Valley Arts & Recreation staff would be able to approve a fee waiver or reduction of up to $2,000, with requests for fee waivers over $2,000 will be sent to the Parks & Recreation Commission for consideration

See below for each activity! The beloved Mill Valley Little League Parade is marching back into town. Save the date of Saturday, March 15th. We’re hoping for blue skies for our Opening Day Parade and Ceremony. The parade will start at 9am, led by the traditional bagpipe brigade. The parade route cuts through town on its way to Boyle Park for the ceremony and introduction of our 2025 teams.

Trump’s changing timeline for introducing new tariffs has made it difficult for homebuilders to anticipate what duties will actually go into effect, and when. Here are the tariffs the president has announced so far. Mexico and Canada: On Feb. 1, Trump announced tariffs of 25% on these two major U.S. trading partners that would go into effect in March. Just two days later, he paused the tariffs for 30 days after Mexico and Canada pledged to curb drug flows across their borders. The tariffs went into effect March 4.
