The folks at the Sweetwater Music Hall are making it crystal clear that while they run the best live music venue in Marin County, they’ve also got a lil’ something for everyone, even if they suffer from musical anhedonia.
Just two months from reviving the popular Trivia Cafe, hosted by Howard Rachelson, Marin’s trivia master and the author of the Pacific Sun’s Trivia Cafe column, the venue is hosting “Games Night,” a multi-faceted collaboration with Gamescape North, the all-games-everything shop in downtown San Rafael.
The event, set for Wednesday, August 17th at 5pm, will feature board games on the outdoor patio, game consoles in the hall, a Magic the Gathering draft (entry fee required) and food and drink specials all night long.
The event is otherwise free, with plenty of food and drink for purchase. Attendees can expect a night of eating, drinking, laughing and reveling in some of their favorite games.
