Local fine jewelry designer Betul Malik was born in Switzerland and raised in Istanbul surrounded by the architect colleagues of her parents. Her love of design brought her to fine jewelry houses in Europe and eventually the launch of her own collection in 2010. She has a strong philosophy of sustainability, using recycled gold and recycled brilliant cut diamonds that are ethically sourced and certified G-H (near colorless) and SI (slightly included). Betul also designed a line of porcelain dinnerware, sold in our shop. Both her jewelry and home goods share a delicateness mixed with bold drama!

Betul is sharing a special gift for anyone that makes a purchase on either of these nights: Birth Chart Analysis. Her sister is an author and astrologist trained also in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). In her hyper-personalized reading delivered in PDF form, Tugba Kahn will interpret the meaning of the position of the planets on the day your were born, the energies you were exposed to and examine what opportunities could be in store! A super unique gift with purchase!

* Special offers from Paseo Bistro and Playa: “We are sampling French 75, blood orange margarita from Paseo and Kill Bill margaritas from Playa + with proof of purchase from Poet and/the Bench. Paseo Bistro will gift you a lovely plate of beignets when you come to their brunch! Playa’s gift will be your choice of chips and salsa or desert when you visit for lunch!

Poet and/the Bench is at 11 Throckmorton Avenue.
