Lifelong Mill Valley resident Khadija Hansia-Gibson, whose Limelight Productions event planning business specializes in weddings, specifically multi-cultural and interfaith weddings that celebrate diversity, has joined with her sister Fatima Hansia to host ‘Gather for Gaza,’ a fundraiser for Humanitarian Aid on Sunday, March 17th at the Mill Valley Community Center (180 Camino Alto) from 5:30-9pm.

NOTE: 100% of the proceeds go to the Middle East Children’s Alliance.

“Join us for a night filled with compassion for the people of Gaza with an activism hour and silent auction, followed by iftar, Hansia says. “We’re raising funds for food and medical aid for children in Gaza with 100% of the ticket sales and anything raised on the day of going towards Middle East Children’s Alliance, a non-profit based out of Berkeley.”

Hansia-Gibson was born and raised on Seaver Drive, attending Edna Maguire Elementary, Mill Valley Middle and Tam High before going to College of Marin and San Francisco State. She began her career at NanaWall, the family business founded in 1986 built around innovative, stackable, folding glass walls.
