Award-winning dancer and choreographer Ben Needham-Wood began his dance career with the Louisville Ballet, where he performed a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary works. He found his passion in contemporary ballet, and in 2013 he joined the Smuin Contemporary Ballet, where he danced for seven seasons.
Now retired from full-time dance performance, Needham-Wood focuses on choreography, dance education, and arts leadership and administration. At a free, virtual Outdoor Art Club event on Thursday, March 3 at 1pm, he will discuss the relationship between dance and mental health.
