Throckmorton Theatre Hosts October Noon Concert: Jennifer Choi, Angela Lee & Marc Teicholz ā Oct. 16th, 12pm
October Noon Concert features Violinist Jennifer Choi, cellist Angela Lee, and guitarist Marc Teicholz join forces to play a delightfully varied and colorful program. The music ranges from Paganini to Piazzolla, Baroque to Balkan, light and humorous to darkly sensual and intense. There are no “reserved seats” however, you may request special seating if you have a need. This concert is donation based and a link to make your donations will be at the completion of the form. Please considering donating so that we may continue to provide this and other music programs. Your donations help us to afford these high-caliber concerts and allow us to pay our musicians and staff. Doors open at 11:45am and Concerts begin at 12pm.

Organizers of the event, as usual, are making sure that the event benefits the larger Bay Area community, and is doing so by continuing its “Hardly Strictly Out of the Park,” a series of nighttime live performances at a handful of venues around town, including a quartet of shows at our own venerable Sweetwater Music Hall.

This evening will bring together a stellar lineup of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass favorites, including Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Chuck Prophet and His Cumbia Shoes, Bill Kirchen, Austin de Lone, the legendary Lost Planet Airmen ā five original members of Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. The show will raise crucial funds for Prader-Willi Homes of California, formerly known as The Richard de Lone Special Housing Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing and supporting residential living for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.
