Mill Valley musicians: it’s already time to make your September plans.
The Mill Valley Arts Commission will host outdoor concerts on Saturday, September 9th & Sunday, September 10th on the Downtown Plaza. Concerts will include performances from at least 3 musical artists/groups per date.
Concerts on the Depot Plaza, Mill Valley’s landmark, public open-air Plaza in the City center surrounded by local retail shops and restaurants. Each selected artist/group will receive a $750 payment on the day of the concert. Sound system, audio technician and event publicity will be provided by the Mill Valley Arts Commission.
All interested musical artists are encouraged to apply. Performers need to be able to play a 90-minute set. Please note that in order to provide the widest opportunity for local musicians, those performers who participated in the 2022 Concerts on the Plaza will not be eligible for the 2023 series.
Application Info: To be considered, first complete the online Musical Artist Submission Formby Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at noon. After the commission receives your submission form, you will receive an email within 3 business days from artscommission@cityofmillvalley.org with upload instructions to send in at least 3 of your musical selections in MP3 format and any promotional materialno later than Thursday, March 16, 2023 at noon.
