Art Lovers to Descend on Mill Valley and Beyond for Marin Open Studios – May 4-5, May 11-12, 11am-6pm Each Day

Artists across Mill Valley and beyond are set to showcase their work as part of Marin Open Studios, which spans May 4 & 5 and May 11 & 12 from 11am-6pm each day at various locations throughout Marin.

Marin Open Studios returns for its 31st year, inviting art lovers from across the Bay Area to visit art studios all over Marin County for a self-guided tour to meet the artists, enjoy their portfolio of artwork up close, and purchase work directly from the artists.

Over 250 artists of every stripe including sculptors, pottery, abstract and figurative painters, photographers, textile, and jewelers to name a few are participating in the 2024 Marin Open Studios, including 22 new artists.

“We are delighted to present another year of our much loved open studios and to help showcase the incredibly talented and diverse art community here in Marin County, ” said Kay Carlson, co-founder and executive director of Marin Open Studios.

2024 Marin Open Studios schedule also includes:

• Marin Open Studios Preview Gallery, April 20 through May 12, at the Sausalito Center for the Arts, 750 Bridgeway (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). The public is invited to preview artwork from participating artists. Samples of each artist’s work will be on display.

• Marin Open Studios Gala and Fundraiser will be held on April 27 from 7-10 pm at Sausalito Center for the Arts, 750 Bridgeway, Sausalito. Ticket prices are $50 a piece and are available through Eventbrite. To purchase, visit www.marinopenstudios.org
