Founder Matthew Purdon, holding the giant wooden scissors, was joined by several Woander creatures, and was joined by Councilmember Katherine Jones, Kathy Bakshandeh from the Mill Valley Chamber, and and family and friends!

The wait is over— Woander Store has officially opened its doors!

Woander is a family play store featuring family friendly games and storytelling products that opened in downtown Mill Valley at 73 Throckmorton on April 19th!

Lots of supporters and on-lookers celebrated the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with lots of fun and magic all afternoon.
There was a live magic show, open gameplay, puppet greeters and a puppet making activity.

It was a family-friendly event. There is so much more tome come!

It was a day of fun, creativity, and magic! Whether you’re a tabletop gaming fan, love hands-on crafts, or just want to see the magic happen (literally!), they’ve got something for everyone:

Puppet Greeters – meet the characters from The Wylding Woods
