As we reported in 2021, Grace Kraaijvanger made the gut-wrenching decision to close the female-fueled “co-working space and inspiration lab” that she opened at 38 Miller Ave. in downtown Mill Valley in 2016, as well as the space at the Fort Mason Center for the Arts + Culture in San Francisco she opened in 2019.
But as Kraaijvanger made clear in that initial note of sadness, The Hivery continues onward in offering its Hivery Circle digital membership, a one-of-a-kind digital membership. “Our beautiful spaces in Mill Valley and San Francisco may have closed…but that doesn’t mean The Hivery itself is coming to an end. Quite the opposite!” Kraaijvanger wrote. “Because spaces don’t make a community, people do. And we are so much more than our spaces. We are a vibrant, dedicated, passionate community that is dedicated to kindness, massive impact, and growth.”
To that point, the Hivery is partnering with Club Evexia, Warren Gendel and Scott Raymond’s massive fitness, health, and wellness business that seeks to serve the broadest swath of people possible, located at 100 Shoreline Hwy. The two organizations are offering “a curated, half-day wellness escape at their beautiful new wellness club,” Kraaijvanger write in a missive to her members. “You’ll start the day with a warm Hivery welcome, flowing right into an all-levels yoga/sound bath, followed by a beautiful community lunch, and plenty of free time to network and mingle in their gorgeous co-working and event space with bay views. We’ll end the day with a guided meditation/visualization and journaling exercise.”
Attendees will also have the chance to take a tour of the Club Evexia space and learn more about the perks they’re offering to The Hivery community.
The event is set for Friday, Sept. 23, 10:30am-2pm, at 100 Shoreline Highway, Suite 100, Bldg A, Mill Valley.
$40 for non-members and $30 for members with promo code.
