Mill Valley City Council Once Again Toasts ‘The Best of Us,’ This Time Honoring the Remarkable Contributions of the Force of Nature That Is Hugh Kuhn
The latest recipient of well-deserved kudos was Hugh Kuhn ā as Mayor Urban Carmel put it, “who are the best of us. They are the people that give of themselves with their intelligence, their passion, often times their pocketbook ā it makes our community special.”

We cannot accept the notion that asking our elected officials to prevent displacement and homelessness among low-income older adults is asking too much.”

“Marin residents would love to support affordable housing, or at least thatās what they say,ā Spotswood said at the outset. āTo make real progress, weāre going to have to make larger strides.āĀ “It will take 15 years to build out of this crisis,” Silva said. “We haven’t been meeting these goals for 30-plus years. That’s why we have this level of homelessness. We need every kind of housing.”
