Friends of the Mill Valley Library Has a Volunteer Opportunity for Enthusiastic Volunteers to Lend a Hand in the Friends Bookstore
The Friends of the Library are looking for a couple of enthusiastic volunteers to lend a hand in the Friends Bookstore. The task involves carefully packing overstocked books into sturdy bankers boxes, loading them onto a cart (each box weighs around 30 pounds), transferring the packed boxes to another location in the Bookstore, and then stacking them neatly. This should take about 1 to 2 hours, 1 or 2 days a week. If youāre interested, reach out to Friends board member Jim Derich at jim.derich@friendsmvl.org.

In additional to that massive catalogue, the Friends of the Mill Valley Library, one of the two major supporters of the library, host regular Friends of the Library In-Person Book Sales. The next one is December 4th, 2:30-5:30pm. and again on Dec. 7th, 11am-4:30pm. Entrance is in the Smart Garden āunderā the Library.
