It gives me great pleasure to partner with the Office of Education to host the Marin City historical traveling exhibit and publication, “A Brand New Start … This is Home” into the 62 public school libraries and classrooms.

Preciado, a 6th grade Mill Valley Middle School student who was selected to play in the Mundialito Cup in Spain in March 2024, the Youth World Cup, is one of a handful of kids in California who were chosen for this opportunity. Unfortunately, there are no scholarships being offered, so Preciado needs some support – and he is almost there.

For multi-family housing, Mill Valley requires 25% more parking than Tiburon, and Fairfax requires 32% more than San Anselmo. These dramatic differences wouldn’t occur if parking mandates were scientifically based. Excess parking consumes too much land.”
