Curtain Theatre’s production of classic tale, set in the gorgeous redwood grove amphitheater of Old Mill Park, runs Sept. 5–7 and 12–13.
More than 420 years after William Shakespeare wrote the classic The Taming of the Shrew, the oft-hilarious battle of the sexes tale endures. The story of the sharp-tongued shrew Kate and the efforts by the bumbling Petruchio to win her heart continues in Mill Valley over the next two weekends as the acclaimed Curtain Theatre takes it on in the outdoor amphitheater in Old Mill Park.

The free performances, set for 2pm on Sept. 5–7 and Sept. 12–13, are helmed by director Carl Jordan. More info.
