Climate change, and its role in ever-intensifying weather, seems to be on the minds of everyone these days. On Nov. 2 at 1pm, the Outdoor Art Club is hosting a free presentation from Save the Bay’s Katy Zaremba to do just that.

Zaremba, the organization’s habitat restoration program manager, will talk about Save the Bay’s historic role in advocating for the Bay. She will discuss the current use of local actions to combat the effects of sea level rise, accelerate wetland restoration, protect shorelines against flooding, and make cities “Bay Smart.”

Zaremba will also describe Save the Bay’s innovative demonstration project, implemented with several Hayward Shoreline partners, and give an update on its ongoing work to adapt to climate change and reduce bay pollution.

The 411: The Outdoor Art Club is hosting a free presentation from Save the Bay’s Katy Zaremba on Nov. 2 at 1pm. Free. One West Blithedale. Light refreshments will be served.
