MV Library Foundation Story Walk

Mill Valley Story Walk

The Mill Valley Library Foundation has long established itself as a powerhouse organization in support of one of Mill Valley’s treasures: the Mill Valley Public Library. It has done so in myriad ways, from its establishment of a multi-million-dollar endowment and a Legacy Giving program to creative events that celebrate literature for all ages like the Beyond the Book Bash and the Storybook Ball.

Now the foundation is set to host Story Walk, an all-ages, community-based fundraising event benefiting the foundation that calls for attendees to walk from the Mill Valley Public Library to Tam High and/or the Mill Valley Lumber Yard. In doing so, they’ll  learn more about the library, historical landmarks and points of interest while enjoying our wonderful town. The event is set for Sunday, October 24, 9am-1pm.

Registrants receive:

  • An event t-shirt (sizes available on a first come basis)
  • A celebration medal for Story Walk finishers (received at Library)
  • Beverages and snacks along the route
  • Access to a silent auction in the Peter Dreyfus Garden adjacent to the library

The walks start at 9, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45 , 10, 10:15, 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. Tickets are $25 per person, $65 for two to four people in a household and $100 for five to eight people in a household.
