Nine months later,Mt. Tam United Methodist Church, which was among those to lead the way in March with its ‘At Home & Together” virtual gatherings via Zoom and Facebook Live, continues to pivot.
Church officials are hosting aDrive-Thru Nativity viewing on Sunday, December 13 (5-7 pm), allowing those interested to enjoy scenes from the story of the birth of Jesus, along with Christmas music, all from the comfort and safety of your vehicle. Tricia Wiig, the church’s director of children, youth and family ministries, says she’s encouraging families to bring canned goods and/or new, unwrapped toys for the food bank and Christmas gift barrels for those in need.
The church is also offering a pair of Virtual Christmas Eve Services on Thursday, December 24, with 4pm service designed for families with young children and a traditional candlelight service at 7pm.
