In its continuing efforts to broadly engage with the community, Mill Valley Police Department personnel this week volunteered to join Clean MV, the longstanding anti-litter and beautification organization founded in 2012 by civic stewards Joan Murray and Jill Young, among others, for a cleanup of the area around the creek near East Blithedale and Ashford avenues.
“Taking the moto from Clean MV, It Takes a Village, please do your part to keep Mill Valley clean for everyone, and take the extra time to find the proper garbage receptacle to keep this city beautiful,” new Mill Valley Police Chief Rick Navarro said.
