The Mill Valley 11s Little League All Stars team ran roughshod through the District 3 bracket, outscoring their opposition by an outrageous combined score of 100-5. Mill Valley needed just three innings to claim the title following a 15-0 victory against Novato North, according to the Marin IJ.
Graziano Cerchiai had two hits and drove in a game-high four runs to pace Mill Valley, which scored three innings in the opening frame before breaking the game open with nine runs in the second.
Levi Weber also had multiple hits for Mill Valley and drove in three runs. Charlie Davies hit leadoff with a single, two RBIs and two runs scored, the IJ reported.
During its run through All Stars play, Mill Valley was only really tested in Saturday’s semifinal — a 3-1 victory against Novato South.
Mill Valley’s roster is comprised of Cerchiai, Davies, Weber, Gray Getty, Beckett Glynn , Oscar Karlen, Davis Marshall, Kadin Mokari, Rory Murphy, Jack Payne, Leo Tenenbown, Remi Thill, Hudson Wayne, and Brodie Williams. The team is managed by Brian Murphy who is assisted by Steve Marshall and Clark Weber.
