Mill Valley Friends of Parks and Recreation, an organization that has been part of the lifeblood of Mill Valley’s sports fields, facilities and critical parts of vital infrastructure, is once again gathering the community to reach its lofty goals to support soccer, baseball, lacrosse, football programs and much more by raising money for users of all ages – from the the community center pool and fitness center to community points like Downtown Plaza and the community gardens.

100% of all proceeds will go towards Parks and Recreation projects.

Bottom line: The presence of parks and recreation in Mill Valley is ubiquitous, and the Mill Valley Friends of Parks and Recreation works with the city to ensure that Mill Valley’s fields, recreation programs and facilities continue to be a first-class experience. In recent years, the organization has helped fund projects like the Skate Park renovation, improvements at the Mill Valley Golf Course, landscaping outside the Community Center, the Community Garden annex, the Dog Park Agility Course, a scholarship matching program and more sports field renovations.

There has also been significant support for $60,000 for a Fund-A-Need for three projects: scholarships for Mill Valley Recreation programs and a Bicycle Pump Track.
