The Marin Symphony has long been focused on appealing to music lovers of all ages, and the organization makes that case once again with its upcoming Family Concert on Sunday, March 25.

The concert features the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra alongside Marin Symphony professionals, conducted by stalwart leader Alastair Neale, performing Tchaikovsky and Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” side-by-side. The concert features violin soloist Jacob Hershman, winner of the MSYO Concerto Competition, and narration by KALW radio personality David Latulippe.

“From a child’s first live orchestra experience to musical thrills for veteran concertgoers, Marin Symphony’s Family Concert is for everyone,” says Marin Symphony Executive Director Tod Brody. 

The 411: The Marin Symphony Family Concert is set for Sunday, March 25 at 3pm at the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, MYSO musicians will perform chamber music in the lobbies before the concert.
