Mill Valley businesses and nonprofits once again garnered an array of Marin Magazine’s Best of County awards in 2024 across a variety of business types.

This year’s Mill Valley honorees in the arts included The Mountain Play,  Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, Marin Theatre Company, Throckmorton Theatre, the Sweetwater Music Hall, Mill Valley Film Festival, Anthony Meier, Aerena Gallery, Seager Gray Gallery and much more, including the 2024 readers’ choice Best of the County winner: Mill Valley Music Fest, along with the Homestead Valley Music Festival and Sound Summit.

In the Dining category, Le Marais Bakery drew kudos, as did Super Duper Burger, Floodwater, Kitchen Sunnyside, Samurai Sushi, Prabh Indian Kitchen, Watershed, The Junction, Cantina, Playa, Joe’s Taco Lounge, Sol Food, Corner Bar, Depot Cafe, Antone’s East Coast Sub Shop, Mill Valley Market, Hook Fish Co., Buckeye Roadhouse, Bungalow 44, Mamahuhu, Piatti, Lam’s Kitchen, Piazza D’Angelo, La Ginestra and Gravity Tavern.

The 2am Club took home the prize for Best Dive Bar.

As for the top places to shop in town, the ever-creative Poet and/the Bench took home honors for best jewelry, while Summerhouse did so for home furnishing.

As we all seek out the best coffee in the county, Equator’s various locations continue to lead the pack, as does Upside in Tam Junction. Shoreline Coffee Shop continues to thrive in Tam Junction.

As for those with a sweet tooth for deliciousness, Bob’s Donut’s is a winner, as were Mill Valley Baking Company and Upside.

Pizza is everywhere in Marin, and a trio of Mill Valley spots earned honored, including Tamalpie, Stefano’s, Watershed and Pizza Hacker @ The Junction.

In the spas and bodycare category, Belle Marin Aesthetics was honored, as was AP Luxe Salon, MilVali Salon & Cosmetics, Revery Salon, Mill Valley Dermatology, Shavery Barbershop, Hello Modern and Nail Motif.

In the fitness category, The Yard at Tam Junction, BodyRok, Club Evexia, FitWise Pilates, the Club at Harbor Point, and Internal Fire Pilates were hailed.

In the architectural world, Chambers & Chambers was honored, as was Dorman Associates, Lincoln Lighthill Architect, Sutton Suzuki Architects and The Scale Collective.

For those striving for that green thumb, Green Door Design, Bloomingayles, Green Jeans Garden Supply were honored, as was Integrated Design Studio,
