RCU has branches in Novato and San Rafael and 17 branches throughout the North Bay in addition to its new branch at 695 E. Blithedale Avenue in the Alto Plaza Shopping Center. The company regularly draws praise for its relationship with SchoolsRule, whereby every time Marin residents use their RCU credit or debit card, RCU makes a donation to SchoolsRule Marin, which funds arts, health, technology, and literacy programs for all public school students in Marin.
“We’re honored to be named ‘Best Credit Union’ by readers of the Marin Independent Journal—it’s always rewarding to be recognized, but especially when it’s directly from the people and communities we serve,” said Brett Martinez, RCU president and CEO. “With a growing membership and three locations in Marin County, we’re looking forward to even further helping Marin residents, businesses, and the community succeed,” Martinez added.
RCU’s new Mill Valley branch is designed to better accommodate the credit union’s growing membership in Marin County. It features three 24-hour access ATMs; a technology bar for members to access online banking and information; knowledgeable branch staff to assist with accounts, loans, and financial wellness; and a children’s activity area. The branch is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
