Makers Market shop at the Mill Valley Lumber Yard is looking to help shoppers get their holiday gift buying done early as they host their next Outdoor Market on Saturday, November 10 from 10am-5pm. As usual, the event boasts more than 20 independent creators, artists and makers who will be showcasing their wares, including jewelry, handbags, ceramics, glassware, leatherwork. watercolor art, soaps and candles throughout the property. There will also be live music throughout the event, which runs from 10am-5pm.

Among the artists and vendors at the Outdoor Market will be Collective Hearts, founded by a group of women with deep Marin roots, including Playa co-owner Vanessa Higgins. Co-founder Lisa Rueff says Collective Hearts “was created to spread love freely and abundantly, front and center, and always from the heart.”

Each person that buys a Collective Hearts necklace receives a small heart token “to give to a friend, loved one, or complete stranger to brighten their day, and each necklace purchase supports The Jacmel Children’s Center, an orphanage and school in Haiti.”

NOTE: Help the environment and take advantage of the easy transit, pedestrian and bike access to the Lumber Yard, with 60 bike parking spaces onsite. If you need to drive, don’t park in front of neighbors homes as there is ample median public parking in the surrounding area.
