Makers Market is perhaps best known for its monthly Outdoor Markets spanning the Mill Valley Lumber Yard and its eclectic mix of products from an array of artisans and makers throughout the Bay Area. But the space at the southeastern end of MVLY also regularly hosts trunk shows to shine a spotlight on individual makers, and it’s doing so this month with Marin jewelry artist Maya Bauman.

The Trunk Show, set for Saturday, August 17, highlights Maya Bauman Design, the brainchild of Maya Wakatsuki Bauman, who was raised by a family of ceramicists in Nagano, Japan. Bauman says that her 15 years of experience in the jewelry business have given her insight into in everything from costume pieces to extremely high end pieces.

The 411: Makers Market hosts a trunk shows highlighting Maya Bauman Design on Saturday, August 17, 10am-5pm. 129 Miller Avenue, #603. MORE INFO.
