Would you? Could You? Help make the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss come to life?

The Mill Valley Library Foundation is planning its annual Storybook Ball to raise money for the Library’s free children and teen programming, and this year it’s going with a Dr. Seuss theme. The “Seuss on the Loose”-themed Storybook Ball is set for Sunday, May 17 from 4-7pm at the Mill Valley Community Center.

This family event for adults and children ages 4-10 includes dancing, food, wine, activities, skits, favors and more. It all adds up to a magical and memorable experience for kids and a better Library for the community. The Storybook Ball has raised over $60,000 over the past few years for the Library; and we need your support for 2015!

The Foundation is looking for local businesses to participate in the following ways:

Show your support. Create a display in your window April 19-25 – expressing the wonder of Dr. Seuss and his friends. Include a Storybook Ball poster (available April 1). Show your customers that you support their families and the community in and around the Library.

Donate. Offer a unique discount, event, or dish for your customers for a limited period of time in celebration of Dr. Seuss – over a few day(s)/week(s) in late April – donating all proceeds to the event.

Become a Sponsor. Be recognized in the community as a marquee sponsor for the Ball (more details available here).
upon request or accessible via ).

If you’re interested in participating in any of the above ways, email foundation board member Courtney McKlveen at cmac@yahoo.com. You can also make a direct donation.
