As part of its 40th Anniversary celebration, Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, is set to bring an abundance of glee, excitement and dancing over Memorial Day weekend as the annual four-day Kiddo! Family Carnival returns after a lengthy hiatus.
Beginning Friday, May 27 and running through Monday, May 30, join Kiddo! for a real old-fashioned carnival at the Mill Valley Middle School. There will be rides for all ages, plus food and games.
Advance discounted ticket vouchers are $30 and may be turned in at the Carnival for a ticket book or for a one day wrist band for unlimited rides. Once the Carnival begins, wristbands will be $40. Food and games are extra.
Advance discounted ticket vouchers will be available to purchase (CHECK OR CASH ONLY) in the Kiddo! office (now located at 409 Sycamore, by the rear parking lot at MVMS, next to the gym entrance. Look for the yellow door.) Monday through Thursday, May 23-26, 8:30am-3:30pm and Friday May 27 from 8:45am until 1:00pm. Discount vouchers will also be sold at the Mill Valley Community Center on Thursday May 26 from 3:00pm-6:00pm and Friday May 27 from 2:00pm-3:30pm. Net proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Kiddo! Endowment for the Arts and the programs it helps to fund for Mill Valley’s K-8 public schools.
Memorial Day Parade
Please come join the Kiddo! float on Monday, May 30 to walk along as it winds through downtown Mill Valley and along Miller Avenue towards Tam High. Meet at the Kiddo! float at 10:00am in front of Old Mill School. Parade starts at 10:30am. MORE INFO.
As usual, the event will be preceded by the return of the Mill Valley Volunteer Firefighters’ Association’s Pancake Breakfast from 7-11am.

Kiddo! Memorial Day Celebration 12-5:15pm on Friends Field – FREE ADMISSION
Immediately after the parade on Friends Field at the Mill Valley Community Center, Kiddo!, (in collaboration with Mill Valley Recreation, The City of Mill Valley, Famous4 Productions) is hosting a free “Concert on the Green” from 12:30-5:00pm featuring music from Catfight, Wreckless Strangers, and other special guests. The event is free to the community. There will also be tasty food and beverages for all ages from local vendors available for purchase. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN ADULT BEVERAGES. Beer, wine, and other assorted beverages will be sold at the event with proceeds to benefit Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation.
