Pianist Larry Vukovich performed a concert with jazz vocalist Jackie Ryan at the Community Church of Mill Valley in October 2017, delighting a packed house with a set of jazz standards and more.

That response incited church officials to invite Vukovich back, this time to team with violinist Eric Goliub for a set of jazz standards, world music with a Balkan touch, as well as some Latin and Brazilian music and more. The event is set for Sunday, Oct. 21 at 4pm.

Vuckovich has won acclaim from critics and jazz audiences for his deeply imaginative style and repertoire heard at prestigious North American and European jazz clubs, concert halls and festivals. He is as equally at home in world music/classically influenced modal jazz as he is in hard-swinging bebop, post-bop, contemporary jazz, and down-home blues. Jazz violinist Golub performs straight ahead and contemporary jazz but specializes in music of the Balkans, Middle East and Asia.

Wine and other refreshments will be available for sale prior to the concert and during intermission.
