Mill Valley acupuncturist Jacquelyn Sugich is fresh off the boat – but not in the pejorative sense.

Sugich moved to Mill Valley a few months back after spending the past two years as an acupuncturist on cruise ships. In doing so, she merged two of her passions: acupuncture and travel, visiting Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Asia, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Also a certified massage therapist and a yoga instructor, Sugich provides all three of those services at the Cavallo Point at Fort Baker, and is now focused on developing her private acupuncture practice, Golden Ginkgo Acupuncture, located 61 Camino Alto, Suite 101 in the Safeway and Starbucks shopping center.

A California native, Sugich graduated from Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine (SBCOM) with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, participating in a study abroad program in China along the way.
