Caltrans plans to make emergency repairs on northbound U.S. Highway 101’s bridge spanning Richardson Bay in Mill Valley, according to Bay City News Service.

Lane and ramp closures will take place between June 1 and June 18, said Bart Ney, spokesperson for Caltrans’ District 4 office.

The emergency repairs will require closures of lanes #3, #4 and #5 in the northbound direction of Highway 101, as well as ramp closures at the northbound Highway 101 Richardson Bay Bridge to the northbound Sausalito/Bridgeway on-ramp, as well as at Shoreline Drive to the northbound Richardson Bay on-ramp.

Ney said the closures are necessary to ensure safety of construction workers during the replacement of the expansion joints on the bridge.
