In October 2022, EDENS, a national retail real estate owner with a portfolio more than 110 places, acquired Strawberry Village, infusing the longstanding, 175,385 square-foot, open-air and grocery-anchored Mill Valley retail property – one of the 94941’s five commercial districts, with energy and excitement.
The firm has steadily invested in the property ever since, instill the campus with a series of renovations and additions, starting with a bright, contemporary color palette, new lighting, landscaping, outdoor seating areas, public art and refreshed signage.
“We have loved becoming part of the Marin community and are excited to bring renewed vibrancy to Strawberry Village, envisioning an updated mix of retail and restaurants emphasizing local partners,” Alexander Ragonese, Vice President, Development for EDENS, said at the time.
Not long thereafter, EDEN launched at Strawberry Village a new weekly, all-local, all-organic farmers market, held every Tuesday from 10am-2:30pm in conjunction with Marin Community Farmers Markets, which also has year-round markets in Corte Madera (Wednesdays 12-5pm) and at 759 East Blithedale Ave. in the CVS parking lot, on Fridays, 9:30am-2:30pm.
Now comes word that EDENS is debuting Marin Motor Social!
Starting June 8th, bring your cars, grab your coffee, and join us every 2nd Saturday from 8am to 10am. This exciting cars & coffee event, hosted by Porsche Marin and Eric McFarland at The Agency, will take place at 800 Redwood Hwy Frontage Road, Mill Valley – the same location as Strawberry Village’s weekly farmer’s market.
“Marin’s Motor Social is perfect for both car enthusiasts and early risers looking to make some new friends,” Ragonese says. “Stroll around Strawberry Village, enjoy a cup of coffee, and check out some amazing cars.”
Food and beverage spots like High Tech Burrito, Starbucks, NY Bagels, Aloh O Poke, Spanish Table, and West Coast Sourdough will be open and ready to serve you after the event. Plus, retailers such as West Elm, Bella Boutique, ArchRival, Bluemercury, CP Shades, EVO Spa, and more will welcome you with open doors later that afternoon.
