The Marin County Emergency Medical Services Agency continues to ramp up its efforts to educate the community on ways to save a life. On Saturday, August 13 from 10am-2pm at locations throughout Marin, they’re hosting a free lifesaving training session.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Depot Plaza at 85 Throckmorton Ave. in downtown Mill Valley (and several locations elsewhere). Instructors with medical training will teach hands-only CPR technique, Narcan administration and methods to stop bleeding.

The demonstrations and instructions from local doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMTs and firefighters are open to anyone ages 8 and up.
