Looking to improve on an already popular event, the City of Mill Valley is tweaking its annual event for volunteers to learn more about the organizations in need of them, moving it to the Community Center and looking to shine a spotlight on some of the people who get stuff done in our amazing little town.

Come to the 3rd Annual Mill Valley Volunteer Day, where a plethora of fantastic organizations will be on hand to help you navigate the volunteer opportunities that exist in the 94941, from schools, government and sports to the arts and the environment. The event is set for Set for Saturday, April 29, 11am–2pm, the event promises to be a fun community gathering, with free live music and, ahem, beverages, as well as food trucks selling their wares outside.

The brainchild of longtime local volunteer and Clean Mill Valley co-founder Joan Murray, Volunteer Day has gathered Mill Valley-based nonprofits “that want to create community awareness of their organizations and introduce residents to volunteer opportunities in their organizations.”

More than 30 organizations will be on hand. GO HERE to learn more about volunteering with the City of Mill Valley, or email Volunteer Coordinator Ronnie Moore. MORE INFO ON THE EVENT.
