That’s a Wrap: MVFF45 Concludes With ‘The Good Nurse,’ Doles Out a Bounty of Awards
In between its blockbuster opening and closing nights, the 45th edition of the Mill Valley Film Festival was an avalanche of amazing film that provided an early look at upcoming Academy Award contenders, some of the best films from around the globe, many talented Bay Area filmmakers and acclaimed filmmakers from countries all around the world.

For the 2022 edition of the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, the towering redwoods stood tall for the art lovers attending on Sept. 18, when heavy rain at times and gusty winds made for less than optimal art loving. But because MVFAF is one of Mill Valley’s most deeply treasured events, a packed Saturday and a less-so Sunday balanced out ā and the result was another beautiful event.

On Oct. 2 at 3pm, O’Hanlon shifts gears from music to comedy with āretreat,ā a humorous exploration of playwright and solo performer Margery Kreitmanās journey as she navigates her way through a month-long silent retreat.
