The Alzheimer’s Association, in partnership with the Outdoor Art Club and Marin General Hospital, holds its second annual education forum, “Dementia Caregiving Essentials,” on Wednesday, April 24 from 9:30am-1:30pm at the OAC. The event is a half-day caregiver mini-forum for family members and friends that offers insight into Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and caregiver strategies.

The event’s lineup includes sessions on “Assessment and Management of Cognitive Impairment,” “If I Only Knew Then What I Know Now: Caregivers Sharing Experiences,” and “Self-Care for the Caregiver,” among others.
