Since its founding in 1948, the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center has played a vital role in Marin County as a place to celebrate, strengthen, and sustain Jewish life and culture, to build cross-cultural understanding, and to enrich the lives of those in the community at large. The organization is a place for people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds to participate in cultural experiences, community events, and recreational activities. The community welcomes everyone.
With that deep history in mind, the JCC is inviting all to attend “JCC South Welcome Week,” a multi-faceted, free event designed to debut JCC South, their new satellite campus located at 36 Tiburon Blvd. on the Strawberry side of the highway across the street from Citibank and the Chevron gas station. “JCC Preschool Mill Valley is in session, and we are now excited to share some of the other programming we expect to bring to Southern Marin,” organizers say.
“We invite you to take a tour of our new preschool on Friday, April 5, as part of our Welcome Week. Drop off your little one for playtime in our indoor play space. Stay for a pizza lunch. All are welcome to participate in a family-friendly Community Shabbat at 12:30pm.”
JCC Preschool programs in San Rafael and Mill Valley are for children 18 months to five years and provide the best foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Our highly qualified early childhood educators engage children in meaningful ways by creating indoor and outdoor spaces that provoke wonder, curiosity, and social connection.
JCC South has unveiled a series of free events listed above as part of its open house for the week of April 3-7.
