EDENS, Owner of Strawberry Village, Continues to Innovate, Adding a 2nd Saturday Marin Motor Social on Top of Its Weekly Farmers Market – Starts June 8th!
The first EDENS-driven activation to launch at Strawberry Village is a new weekly farmers market, held every Tuesday from 10am-2:30pm, starting June 13 in the parking lot along the frontage road between West Elm and Starbucks. The market is in conjunction with Marin Community Farmers Markets.

Free Mill Valley Arts Commission’s Legendary Comedy in the Plaza Turns 20, Returns With a Dynamite Quartet of Comics – June 20, 6pm
A quintet of dynamite comedians are set to tickle your funny bones in a night of hilarity on the Depot Plaza, including Dauood Naimyar (Event MC), Gary Michael Anderson, Jeff Applebaum, Giulio Gallarotti and Michael Yo. Comedy in the Plazacregularly draws some of the best standup comedians in the business, and this year’s edition is a special one, as one of the Bay Area’s truly one-of-a-kind comedic joyrides returns to the heart of Mill Valley. In doing so, the event is crossing a landmark moment, as it turns 20 this year. The event is set for Thursday, June 20 at 6pm.

“I volunteer and do all kinds of things – I’m not good at standing around,” she says with a laugh. “It feels really nice to help – this community is my home and it feels really nice to see people around town wearing one of my pins,” Johnson says. Johnson’s pin portfolio continues to grow, including for the likes of Vivalon, “I Heart Marin,’ Visit Marin, and moments of recognition.
Mill Valley Once Again Crushes A Blockbuster Memorial Day Weekend, Honoring Fallen Heroes, a Pancake Breakfast, MVHS Walk Into History, 4-Day Kiddo! Carnival and Much, Much More!
It all kicked off with the return of the Mill Valley Volunteer Firefighters’ Association’s Pancake Breakfast from 7-11am in front of Mill Valley City Hall, serving as the biggest fundraiser of the year for Mill Valley’s volunteer firefighter program. The gathering continued with an array of law enforcement and other agencies Honoring Our Fallen Heroes with a Memorial Day ceremony at Lytton Square, the newly redesigned, tree-laden island that splits the road between Miller and Corte Madera avenues into two and is named for Lytton Barber, Mill Valley’s first WWI casualty.

Surf + Sand owner Lauren Friis is hosting her annual (2nd year) Makers Market, where they support other local women-owned businesses through creativity! There will be more than 9 vendors there (10 including us) and possibly more coming. Women’s and kids’ clothing, shoes, jewelry, photography, art, accessories, flowers, and more! Some of these artists are local Mill Valley moms, others are Bay Area natives. Many of these artists have won awards and much more! Senna Case is owned by local Mill Valley social media influencer Chantelle Paige. Elizée Shoes is a brand that has been worn by the likes of Brooke Shields.
Longtime Local Photographer Amelia Plumb to Showcase ‘Psychedelic – Exploring Nature Through Experimental Film Photography’ at the Mill Valley Chamber Thru July 12th – ArtWalk is Tuesday, June 4th from 5:30-7:30!
Plumb, who fell in love with photography at a young age and found herself in the dark room by the time she got to high school, is set to showcase her 35 mm film, various film stocks (fujifilm 200 and Kodak Ektar 100).
“The film is soaked in liquid, and hand processed in one of just a few labs that process this type of film in the US,” she says. “This type of photography is ‘experimental, and the process is called ‘Film Soup.’
