Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church continues to be a place for community and constant innovation and creation.

“We’re always trying to find new ways to reach out in our community and help bring wholeness and peace,” says Tricia Wiig, Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries Mt. Tam UMC. “Whether or not folks ever join us on a Sunday morning, we want them to feel at home here at Mt. Tam Church.”

“In partnership with Spiritual Guide Elizabeth Schriver Nykodym, Mt. Tam Church welcomes you to a unique sound bath with the angels,” Wiig says. “A sound bath is a full-body meditative experience where people lie down and listen to resonant sounds. It often involves singing bowls, which create an echoing sound that ‘bathes’ people. Event will take place inside the Mt. Tam. Church Sanctuary. Parking is available in the lot in front of the sanctuary and the front corner gravel lot.” The sound bath event is set for Thursday, May 9th from 6-7pm at Mt. Tam UMC, 410 Sycamore Ave.
