Mill Valley’s newest residents go by the names Buffy, Enzo and Corazon.

The trio are quick-charging electric vehicle charging stations that just went live in the Alto Plaza shopping center, courtesy Whole Foods Market at 731 East Blithedale.

“We’re really excited to have these stations here as we know there’s extremely high demand for EV stations here in Mill Valley,” says Whole Foods Blithedale store manager Colin Davidson, who says the installation of the stations is part of the company’s larger initiative spearheaded by its directory of sustainability Tristam Coffin.

The charging stations are part of the EVgo network, which also has a pair of stations in the Village Shopping Center in Cortre Madera. Users must have the EVgo app and program card to access the stations. Each of the 3 charging stations has two charge points.
