The 67th edition of the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, one of the oldest art festivals in California, continues to infuse the landmark event with a excitement via the next generation, showing the evolution and the next generation that young artists and art lovers are bringing to this historic event.
The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival stands out not just for its artistic excellence but for the unwavering dedication of our community and artists.
Aside from offering a wonderful opportunity at the Festival for established artists to share their work, each year we award six scholarships to promising artists from area high schools, providing them with a cash prize, booth space to show their art and mentorship at no cost.
We also work to further support Emerging Artists by creating section at the festival and give free booth space and display tools to young artists. Our mission is to support the arts for generations to come. By donating to MVFAF, you can help us continue and expand our year-round community support — as well as the Festival.
Artist booths line the path of Old Mill Park featuring curated handmade paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, textiles and more.
The Festival had a lively atmosphere where new friends and old enjoyed live entertainment and local food and beverage.
Bands like Jinx Jones and Dirty Cello got festival goers out of their seats and on the dance floor while the kiddos were delighted with puppet shows, stories, magic and more.
The Festival also featured the work of Emerging youth artists as well as neurodivergent artists from Marin. Daniel Oliver, Amy Faust, Cynthia Minoli, and Hilary Williams received Special Recognition awards for their outstanding work at the artist reception Saturday night.
