Best known for her water reflection paintings, Geisler creates images that reside somewhere between photorealism and abstraction. Up close, the color use and brushwork read as abstraction, but from a distance, they blend into a more representational depiction.

Smith Rafael Film Center with the announcement of the overall 2023 DocLands Audience Choice Award for Denny Tedesco’s “Immediate Family,” which chronicles the journey of a group of close friends who became the premiere studio band for the musical icons of the ‘70s and beyond, giving us a backstage tour of rock history.
