SF Chronicle: āUnprecedentedā Marin County Housing Project in Strawberry Moves Forward Amid Neighbor Pushback
āThis type of project is something that is unprecedented in our unincorporated county,ā Jones told the San Francisco Chronicle. She said the state is prioritizing adding a variety of housing to well-off neighborhoods with abundant resources, āas this project would do.āThe county’s report, which took more than three years to finish, highlights the projectās impact, including traffic and noise. Neighbors have objected to the size of the project, lobbying against it since it was announced.

BAHFA reports that āa $10 billion bond would require a tax of $10.26 per $100,000 in assessed value ā or about $100 per year for a million-dollar home.ā Double that if the bond is for $20 billion.”
