Looking to watch dozens of pets and their human accessories strut their stuff onstage in their Halloween costumes – or even better, be one of them?
Strawberry Village shopping center hosts its annual DOGtoberfest on Saturday, October 28th from 12-3pm — featuring interactive, pet-related activities and resources for pet lovers and their four-legged friends. Festivities will include complimentary pet photos, pet sketch artist, pet psychic, animal rescue organizations and adoptions, and more. The event benefits Marin Humane and Hopalong.
This year’s festivities promise a delightful array of pet and family-friendly activities, including complimentary pet photos, live music, pumpkin decorating, face painting, balloon art, pet adoptions, and more! Plus, Woodlands’ famous Pet Costume Contest, a highlight of the day’s events!
For those with a heart for compassion, our Pet Adoption Event, hosted by Marin Humane and its Hopalong Foster Program, offers a chance to make a difference in the lives of animals in need. The Pet Costume Contest takes place at 2pm and is hosted by Woodlands Pet Food & Treats. Register to participate in person at Woodlands before the event on October 28th. All registration fees will benefit Hopalong and Marin Humane and their crucial work in rescuing thousands of animals each year.
And as the excitement builds, don’t miss the performance by PAAM’s (Performing Arts Academy of Marin) Dance Squad at 2:30pm. It’s a day filled with tail-wagging joy and heartwarming moments you won’t want to miss!”
There will also be a Strawberry Village-wide trick or treating for kids and their families.
“Get ready for a paw-some day of fun at Strawberry Village on Saturday, October 28th, as they host their much-anticipated annual DOGtoberfest!” organizers say.
Children accompanied by parents are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat at participating merchants between 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. They can pick up a trick-or-treat bag in the Piazza, located near Woodlands Pet Food & Treats (while supplies last) and go on a hunt for goodies provided by participating Strawberry Village stores.
