Marin music lovers know that, like just about every live performance arts organization, Singers Marin, the nonprofit choral organization founded 35 years ago, took a brief hiatus during the worst of the pandemic. They returned with a concert in 2022 dubbed ‘You Gotta Have Heart and Other Impossible Dreams,’ at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon, and another in December 2022, its much-loved winter concert, entitled ‘43° and Overcast, Alleluia: A Celebration of Winter in Marin,.’
Now the organization is back with “A History of Popular Music (in 90 Minutes or less),” a thrilling opportunity to perform a lively and fun repertoire of popular tunes from years gone by.
This oldie-filled concert takes place on Saturday August 19 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tiburon at 4pm which includes favorites by Burt Bacharach and The Mamas and The Papas through to Cyndi Lauper and ABBA. You will be Rockin Round The Clock!
