Jeffrey Levin and Bonnie Powers, owners of the five-year-old Poet and/the Bench lifestyle store and jewelry atelier space, are hosting a ‘Sip and Shop for a Cause’ on Dec. 16, 5:30-7pm to support Youth in Arts.

The organization develops visual and performing arts skills through innovative and in-depth programs in schools and supports the teaching artists who bring them to life. Focusing on institutions without budget, YIA looks to bridge the equity gap and advocate for young people as artists.

Attendees are invited to join a reception with the director and board members from 5:30-7:00pm. A percentage of proceeds from this day’s sales will be donated to YIA so more youth can share their creative voices. “We’re so looking forward to celebrating a festive, healthy holiday season with you,” Poet co-owner Bonnie Powers says. Let us know how we can bring surprise and delight to your gift giving… and thank you for continuing to shop local and support small passionate businesses like ours.”
