Start the new year off right by joining us for the debut of the 2024/2025 BAYPAC company featuring the PAAM Dance Squad. With dazzling new routines and showstopping performances, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Our event includes competitive dance routines that showcase the immense talents of our team. This performance features dancers of all ages and a variety of choreography styles. Please join us on January 25, 2025 at 3pm at the Marin Showcase Theater located at 20 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael, CA 94903.
PAAM’s CEO and Mill Valley Resident, Annie Leese Thistle is beyond excited for this year’s show. “Our BAYPAC Premiere is a celebration of all of our competitive dances as we get ready to compete and perform regionally through the spring. It is our opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy a fabulous show, and celebrate our BAYPAC and PAAM Squad dancers all the way through our graduating seniors.”
Founded in a genuine love for the performing arts, PAAM provides comprehensive training in theater arts and dance as well as additional offerings including Youth Musicals, dance teams through our BAYPAC program, and Summer Camps. Students receive superior training, expand their boundaries, gain valuable skills – all while building friendships and memories. PAAM equips young artists with a well-rounded arts education and the confidence to take on whatever path they choose. From acro to a cappella, we offer it all under one roof. Our school is the premier training program, providing continued excellence in arts education for students ages 3 & up. Our professional instructors not only bring experience, but also an incredible amount of passion and love for what they do. We look forward to seeing you in the studio and on stage!
The event is set for Marin Showcase Theater, 20 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael.

The event marks the latest chapter in the nearly 15 years since Annie Thistle launched her Performing Arts Academy of Marin (PAAM) in her living room, a journey that took her from the Community Church of Mill Valley in 2009, then in the Alto Plaza shopping center in early 2010, and then to the 2,800-square-foot storefront space above Balboa Cafe at Mill Creek Plaza.
In late 2015, as they juggled multiple venues to accommodate their growth, they moved PAAM to a 6,000-square-foot space at 60 Belvedere Drive in Strawberry, just behind the Strawberry Village shopping center.
